If the insurance company is experiencing a large volume of requests (in the case of a large storm) then it will likely take them longer to respond to your request. This may also delay how quickly they can get an adjuster to check your roof. If you are in a hurry to get your roof replaced or repaired, hiring a public adjuster may be within your best interest to speed up the process. Working with an experienced roofing contractor will also help in ensuring all of the paperwork has been filed properly, therefore speeding up the process. Once the claim has been settled, it can take 30 – 60 days to receive funds for the roof.
Be sure to stay in contact with Roof Source throughout this time period if the conditions of the roof worsen. If you do any small repairs while waiting for the settlement, be sure to keep all receipts! If we are waiting for a claim adjustment, there may be situations where we can get started on the roof before you receive funds. However, in order to ensure you get the correct settlement from your insurance company, we may advise you to get your insurance claim approved and finalized before starting any repairs.
Once you receive funds from your insurance company, you can give us a call to pay your invoice. Roof Source has a policy that the out of pocket deductible amount will not be surpassed unless upgrade requests are made by the customer. Once the roof repair has been completed and the contract fulfilled, the customer is responsible for paying that amount in full.

After a series of trips over the spring and summer I finally had enough time to follow up on roof repairs from that big hail storm in May. I had some cards from some other companies and started reaching out. Some never called back, others seems overly pushy, and the rest were getting a bad reputation on Nextdoor. Looking around I could see nearly all my neighbors went with Roof Source, so I gave them a call. I got a hold of Charles Lane who was already familiar with the area and said he'd be right over to take a look at my roof. Sure enough he showed up on time and was able to quickly assess my roof. Next day I got an email and he started working with my insurance company as the project manager for the roof replacement. Charles was able to walk me through the process of dealing with insurance, the solar companies, and each step of the entire project. He was always communicative and able to reach either by text, phone, or coming by the house. He really did a lot of heavy lifting with the details which helped a lot because of my busy schedule. Roof Source was incredibly flexible and agile when it came to scheduling around my solar company. Honestly I was blown away. The crew was able to do the entire job in a single day, which is incredible. One of my neighbors went with a different company and it took 3 days to do a much smaller job. After the work was complete Charles did a through walk through in the evening and did another detailed cleaning check the next morning. The roof looks amazing and their crew did an excellent job with the cleaning. 100% I will go with Charles and Roof Source the next time a big hail storm comes through!
